IIM (also known as Indian Institute of Management) pioneer institute in imparting management education in India; also delivers executive MBA programs for the working professionals. The executive MBA programs in IIM train the EMBA students by expanding their outlook towards changing scenarios within the organization and further at a global level. The institute also offers about nineteen courses, popularly known as “Management Development Programs”. These courses are generally abbreviated as MDPs. The duration of every single course is about one year.
IIM Indore (1998) offers: “Executive Post Graduate Program” in management. This program is abbreviated as EPGP. This is a part time executive MBA program. The duration of the course is about eighteen months.
IIM Lucknow (1984) offers: “International Program in Management for Executives”. The institute also offers part-time post graduate MBA program for executives. The duration of the course is about three years.
Executive MBA programs in IIMs are designed especially for the working professionals who aspire to grow further in their career ladder. Although, there is a little variation in the eligibility criteria for taking admission in executive MBA in IIM, the professionals basically need to possess a graduation degree with some practical work experience.
